Personally, I don’t call my experiment “Talking to Plants” because I don’t talk to the seeds; I “motivate” germination by applying my own energy. “Talking to Plants” is a common name found on the Internet for this activity so I use that reference here for convenience.
I conduct this experiment by applying about 2 minutes of energy each day for 6 days to the seeds on the left. The seeds on the right are the control group; natural growth. The seeds are watered independently with bottled water. I also motivate the bottle of water for the left seeds, during the 2 minute process. In other words, the 2 minute application of energy includes applying energy to both the bottle of water and seeds. The water for the right seeds comes from a separate bottle and is untreated
The results are reveal on the 7th day. I conduct the experiment for just 7 days because the “plumules” (roots) can get tangled and may be hard to measure.
The seeds used are winter wheat seeds and they are more than 12 years old; sitting in my freezer.
The approximate increase in growth is greater than 500%.
